The last Saturday in June is date for the Cotswold Relay, one of the largest and logistically complex running events in the region, this year 100 teams and around 1000 runners competed in the event that takes competitors from Chipping Campden to Bath Abbey in ten stages; the start time of the each subsequent leg being based on the estimated finish time of the first runner on the previous leg. Dursley Running Club fielded 3 teams totaling thirty runners, a men’s senior team, a men’s veterans team and a women’s team.


Kate Browning continued her quest to complete 100 marathons by completing the Cheltenham Challenge Event on 21 June 04:05:59, placing 31st overall and 8th in her age category.

Kate Browning was in the Lake District on 7 June to run the Scafell Pike Trail Marathon.

Sunday 29 May saw Dave Saunders at the Needles XC Half Marathon (Isle of White).

Daniel Anderson travelled to Yorkshire on Saturday 6 June to complete in Settle Harriers annual Pen-Y-Ghent Fell race.
