Super veteran Dave Saunders from Dursley Running Club made the annual trip to Dorset on Saturday the 4 July to take part in the Charmouth Challenge.

48-Hour Non-stop Pembrokeshire Coast Path Run – An amazing weekend!!

 

Last weekend, 3rd to 5th July, Margaret joined a group of 15 HP current and ex-employees (she being a former employee) to run the Pembrokeshire Coast Path as a relay from Amroth to St Dogmaels, a total of 200 miles, 35,000 feet of ascent and descent. The event is all in aid of a Bristol charity: Relief for Families in Trauma.

Braddan Johnson, one of Dursley’s ultra runners, was on the start line of the ‘Dragon's Back Race’ on Monday 22 June.

Hannah Darton completed the Club's activities of 28/29 June by running the Oldbury Fun Run, a testing course that takes runners up a couple of demanding hills before providing them with flat finish.

The last Saturday in June is date for the Cotswold Relay, one of the largest and logistically complex running events in the region, this year 100 teams and around 1000 runners competed in the event that takes competitors from Chipping Campden to Bath Abbey in ten stages; the start time of the each subsequent leg being based on the estimated finish time of the first runner on the previous leg. Dursley Running Club fielded 3 teams totaling thirty runners, a men’s senior team, a men’s veterans team and a women’s team.
