Kris Rymer and Carolyn Thraves were at the Ironwood Challenge on Sunday 27 Feb, competing in what Carolyn described as a “vigourously undulating course” over 10K.

Six Dursley runners put Dursley Running Club on the map at the Tour of Torpantau Fell Race on Sat 17 Feb. The race is 12.8km with 760m ascent. It starts in a forest car park above Talybont reservoir, climbs steeply to the top of Craig Fan Ddu, then takes in Fan y Big (719m) and Cribyn (795m) before returning by a similar route.

From the 9 to 11 January, Andrew Truswell took part in the Spine Challenger, a non-stop, 108 mile race between Edale and Hawes. He completed the event in 49.5 hours (there is a 60 hour time limit), finishing 19th overall from 37 finishers (and 69 starters).

Dursley Running Club member Rich Shirley took part in the British Universities and Colleges Sport Cross Country Championships at Plock Court Gloucester on Saturday 6 Feb.

The Old Down off road 10K race on 15 Nov saw Mark Brasier, Holly Gardner and Graham Tudor on the starting line.
