Another two Dursley Running Club triathletes were competing at the 2013 TTG Gloucester Triathlon on the same day.  This event is slightly longer than the Westonbirt event with an extra kilometre on both the bike and run sections.

Saturday the 17th of February saw Laszlo Berdan travel down to the Taunton Dean Apney Duathlon. With two races on offer the Dursley Running Club athlete Laszlo plumped for the 1000m swim, 40 lengths of a 25m pool, followed by a 10K run over rolling countryside. On a cold but sunny day he completed the two in a very impressive 01:03:40, 11th in his category, completing the swim in an impressive 20 minutes coming out of teh water ion 49th position, he  finished with the 24th quickest run in 43;39, one of the times I assume includes putting on his shoes and maybe a dry pair of shorts, either way an impressive outing for Laszlo.
