Introducing the Beast – Cornwall’s First Full-Distance Triathlon

Tempus Leisure are introducing a brand new event for 2014, the ‘Beast’ of Cornwall, and confirm a current offer for club athletes who may be interested in visiting this beautiful corner of the country.

The Beast is a full distance triathlon based on the cliff top above Newquay and encompassing a surf swim and bike & sections that make the most of the challenging Cornish coast and countryside. The event, supported by Tri England, will also encompass a standard distance Triathlon and other weekend activities for competitors and spectators alike.

For the inaugural year, they are pleased to offer a discount for club based entries. Please call for more details.

Tempus Leisure is a local charity with a track record of delivering innovative and high quality events including the highly successful Cornwall Triathlon Series. The Beast is the next step in creating a sustainable program of endurance events that promote and support Cornwall.

Jerry Fowler, Ray Williams, Fred Yearsley and Rob Woodward ventured up to the Lakes to make a second attempt to swim Lake Windermere, a good call in the current weather conditions.
