A group of intrepid runners set off on Sunday the 25th for the annual pilgrimage from Painswick to Dursley. Approximately 15 to 17 miles depending on your GPS and this years run along the Cotswold Way was certainly muddy. All was going well until Mouse decided he needed to run up a hill no-one else thought necessary. As those familar with the Costwold Way Relay know keeping to the designated path is not always easy. Runners were soon disappearing in a variety of directions. However all ended well, with everyone making it back to Dursley in time (well sort of) for a fine meal at the Tudor Arms. Many thanks to Graeme for organsiing both the run and the meal which both runners and non runners appreciated. See you next year! |
